Don’t Know Why You Should Use Social Media Marketing? Let Us Show You!

SociallySpeaking Social Media Training Session by Speak SocialThe new year is barreling towards us at a speed only seen on the Autobahn (sorry we’re still in F1 mode here in Austin), which means one thing … it’s time to set the dreaded Marketing Budget.

If your marketing efforts in 2013 do not include some sort of New Media interaction, your advertising may be dead in the water before you even begin.

We know that for some business owners, utilizing New & Social Media can be as scary as walking off the edge of a cliff. That’s why our staff compiled what we learned  from working directly on client campaigns into a 5-hour Social Media training course called #SociallySpeaking that covers blogging, Video, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Review Management, Analytics and more.

Not convinced this will help your business? Don’t take our word for it, here are some direct thoughts from business owners that took our seminar.

“The Speak Social training course is a must for any professional involved in the world of Social Media,” said Meredith Benson, Promotions Manager for Flix Brewhouse & Homefield Grill. “Whether you’re just beginning, or wanting to learn new tricks and be a step ahead of the rest, this intimate, detailed course will give you an edge that is invaluable.”

Ok, that’s just one. Everyone has one fan, right? Here is a full letter, written to us by Dana Philibert, Houston Insurance Agency Owner.

As a business owner in the insurance field I know first-hand the many challenges of finding straight-forward as well as forward-thinking training for our agency. We work with custom databases and software as well as sensitive client information providing all lines of personal and commercial insurance. The truth of the matter is, if the prospect doesn’t know you’re there for them, what’s the point of all your office systems’ bells and whistles? That’s why I was so pleased with a recent Speak Social training I attended with two of my staff members. Speak Social utilized the time to touch on the most critical aspects of Social Media – including current and future developments. They then personalized the training to address the issues facing each of the nine different firm types in attendance. I liked this option as I came away with some ways to reach out to my clients and prospects that I would not have thought of if training had been held in a class of other insurance agents. I’ve participated in other Social Media training but Speak Social has provided me tools that others have not. Included in our training was a branding exercise as well as a backup thumb drive to walk us through all we’d learned. With only two locations, we may be considered by some as small – but our needs are great. Speak Social provided our agency with some well-constructed procedures to make Social Media manageable … and as we delve into this sea I know they are there as a resource. If (and when) the day-to-day effort of Social Media interactions with our growing clientele becomes too great for our team, I know Speak Social is there to take on my Social Media needs directly and serve as a direct extension of my team. The Houston market has so many choices for this type of training but I have to say, we hit it out of the ballpark finding Speak Social as an option. My staff and I drove nearly two hours to the training (and two hours back) and it was worth every mile! If you choose to work with Speak Social, you’d be hard pressed to find a more outstanding group of individuals to benefit your organization.

If that’s not enough to convince you, send us a message to and one of our representatives will give you a list of satisfied customers that includes the Austin Chronicle, Texas Community Bank, and The City of Montgomery.

Join us for our next Austin Training Session on December 11 at 10 a.m. at the Ronald McDonald House in Central Austin. All the details for registration can be found at <>
